DOUBLE Speed Dating: How It Works & Why
Women ages 42-55 and Men ages 47-59

Two women would share the same table. 
 
For the above age bracket we get approximately 4 times as many calls for women as we do for men.  We have received emails from women who have been trying to attend an event for more than 6 months but keep getting shut out.  On a few rare occasions we have had two women friends share a space, both sitting at the same table, and talking to one gentleman at the same time.  This originally happened about six months ago when a woman became nervous and didn't want to stay for an event.  Her friend who was sitting at a different table, came over for support and asked if she could sit at the same table with her nervous friend.  It turned out to be a very fun night for everyone.  The woman sat together the entire night joking and laughing.  The guys were a little confused at first as to what was going on, but turned out to really enjoy the double date.

We held our first double speed dating event in July 04, and the overwhelming response from the participants was positive.  Actually, the only negative comments received were from a few men, who found it difficult to concentrate on two women at once.
