Mary Ann Malack-Ragona
Executive Director/CEO Mary Ann Malack-Ragona joined what is now known as the Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Inc. (ADRC) in February 2003, and in 2004 opened The Neuwirth Family Care Center within the agency’s Ronkonkoma office. Prior to joining ADRC, Ms. Ragona was the Executive Director for the New York State Association of Temporary & Staffing Services, Inc. Ms. Ragona represented the staffing industry on a statewide level with Chapters located in Albany, Buffalo, Long Island, Metro New York, Rochester and Westchester. Before returning to Organizational Management, Ms. Ragona was employed by UnitedHealthcare, one of the largest Health Plans in the country. Ms. Ragona held several positions in the company including Product Manager/Project Coordinator for the Tri-State area. Ms. Ragona graduated with distinguished honors from St. Joseph’s College with a degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Human Resources Management, and received a Masters of Business Administration from LIU/C.W. Post College of Management and Business. Ms. Ragona has taught at St. Joseph’s College and for the University of Phoenix Online Campus. Her expertise is in Alzheimer’s Disease training for Professional Caregivers; Public/Government Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Organizational Behavior, Management Theory, Change Management and Critical Thinking and Decision Making. Ms. Ragona has two sons, Vincent who is a Band Director with the Rocky Point School District, and Joseph who is a Network Engineer in Virginia.

Suzanne Paolucci
LCSW, Care Coordinator Suzanne Paolucci, our Care Coordinator, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has dedicated her twenty-year career to the field of geriatrics and life care planning. Through her adept advocacy skills, Suzanne has a proven record of ensuring that her clients receive the best care possible and obtaining, when required, 24 hour live-in personal or skilled care services through the Medicaid managed care system. Suzanne is a member of the Board of Directors of the Life Enrichment Center at Oyster Bay where she currently chairs the Day Break Senior Social Model Day program and Senior Programming Committee. She is also a member of the National Association of Geriatric Care Managers and National Association of Social Workers. Suzanne graduated with distinction from Hofstra University, received her Master of Social Work degree at Adelphi University and engaged in post-graduate training at Columbia University. Suzanne’s past experience includes five years serving as an elder care coordinator at a life care planning law firm and working for the renowned Geriatric Division at Hillside Zucker Hospital, part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. As the team social worker in the Geriatric Day Hospital, she performed individual, group and caregiver counseling, as well as discharge planning and crisis intervention. Dr. Shelley Pazer is Executive Director at Building Better Mindz . Shelley has worked for more than 25 years in the field of developmental psychology helping children and adults improve their learning and performance at school, at work, and in their daily lives. Shelley holds a B.A. in Psychology and Elementary Education from the City University of New York and a M.Ph. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York. Shelley was Co-Designer and Research Associate on several grants sponsored by the Faculty Awards Research Program, City University of New York, the Spanish-American Foundation and the National Science Foundation to study developmental issues in children and adults. She is the author of numerous papers, has taught at the graduate level, and has worked extensively on award-winning research for the U.S.D.A. on children’s health.
